No, no, no ! No more! How I met your mother season 7 premiered two weeks ago, and the sitcom itself has reached new levels of sucking. There are so many things wrong with this, I do not even know where to start. To start off with, the show should have ended two seasons ago. Why would I want to see a fully grown man to bitch and moan about how he is never gonna meet his soul mate. Seriously , it borders on desperation. And the way he goes off on tangents after tangents makes me want to pull my hair off. To makes things worse, I think the writers have run out of ideas, and so they are bringing back his old girlfriends. I’m pretty sure that in the near future, Ted and Robin will have another go. And what is the deal with those kids? So they sit around the whole day? For seven years? I don’t think they’ve ever had a line. And don’t even get me started on how each season ends. “And that kids, is the first time I saw your mom’s feet.” or “That’s how I got your mom’s umbrella.” Ooooh, the suspense! Marshall and Lily have to be the most boring characters anyone has created. They have nothing funny to say, they agree with each other on everything, and above all, they actually support Ted. Over the years, I’ve come to see them as one – one big blob of insignificance. The show’s only fun elements are Barney and Robin. But the writers and directors have even removed the fun side of Barney by giving him an “emotional” side, and by giving Robin a lesbian haircut. And yet, I watch this show. It’s like having a cavity in your molar. You know it’s gonna hurt, but you can’t help but run your tongue over it just to see if it still hurts.

You know how they say that Expectations ruin everything? Well, recently I found a page on Facebook – “Edward Cullen’s personality is the best example of the requirements i need in a man”. Talk about living in your own little fantasy world. I’ll save all the girls the time , and say this.. you are not going to get a guy like that, not now, not in a million years. In fact all girls should expect a guy like Homer Simpson, nothing more, nothing less.

Seriously what’s the point of this sitcom? Can’t believe I spent Rs. 800 on this ! This has to be one of the most over rated sitcoms ever. I mean why do I want to see a guy meeting a new girl almost every episode, moan about how he is never going to get married. And don’t even get me started on Marshall and Lily. Marshall and Lily are perhaps the most boring thing in TV’s history. Ted and Marshall try to do a Chandler and Joey, but they fail miserably! Ted’s and Marshall’s character are based on the directors of the show, and Lily’s on one of the director’s wife. That makes it extra sad. To think that such people really existed. Robin is OK, I guess, only because she is pretty and she is Canadian. Barney is the only good thing in this whole mess of a sitcom. 5 seasons are over, and I am not going to watch this anymore.

To quote Simbu in this moive “Un-fucking-believable” ! No no, it’s not good unbelievable, it’s “Oh my God, I can’t believe that was a movie ” unbelievable. You’ll cringe everytime Simbu has dialogues in English. Can you imagine him saying “It was like a one way ticket to heart break city”?, or “I want to make love to you”? Well if u can’t, just go watch the movie, you ‘ll know what I mean. And the bastard gets to kiss Trisha. Story wise, well the movie has no story. It’s a thing that takes place in every house in India. Boy and girl are in love, girl’s dad doesn’t like it blah blah blah. You can argue that all Gautham Menon’s movies are like that, the likes of Minnalae and VA. But, those movies had good presentation and actors who could pull off dialogues like “She is a very classy woman da machi” or “I’ll come into your life and sweep you off your feet”. Some of the songs seem forced and are not in sync with the movie. The ending is a modified version of the film ‘Atonement ‘. The songs however are good. If you are a fan of Trisha and/or Gautham Menon, you can watch the movie once. You might say I’m exaggerating. But only one way to find out. Go to this 3 hr. fake/incredibly cheesy love movie. From now on, am going to watch only Mani Rathnam’s and Bala’s movies!

I definitely think he was a Caporegime or a consigliere in one of New York’s Italian-American mafia when he was not writing books. How the fuck else can he know so much about the mafia? Read The Last Don for the 4th time. And wondering how a movie based on the book will be. Yeah, there was a mini series, but that was shit!

I don’t know what it takes for people to realise I am not interested in their relationships. Now, don’t judge me. All things considered, I am a pretty decent friend. I mean I can bring myself to listen to your problems, and what the heck, sort a few of em out ! But , I definitely don’t wanna listen to what you two were discussing THAT night, or what you got her, or how cute/sweet/beautiful she was in that outfit. I definitely DON’T want to listen to those stories. I really couldn’t give a rat’s ass !
